The Thirsty Turtle offers a full kitchen of Smoked Meats, Gourmet Burgers, & “Signature Sandwiches”, with a fun upbeat atmosphere on the Biggest Beach of the Chain O’ Lake.

All of our Angus Burgers are hand-packed daily from only the best ingredients. Come build your own burger or try one of our many signature sandwiches on our beautiful deck overlooking Channel Lake. We also offer a Door County Fish Boil every Friday night. Whether you’re a boater, snowmobiler, ice fisherman or just one of our local customers, The Thirsty Turtle has a little bit for everybody.

The Thirsty Turtle is located in Antioch, IL on Channel Lake—the deepest and cleanest of the Chain O’ Lakes. The Chain O’ Lakes is the second most populated inter coastal waterway in the United States. Located 45 miles north of Chicago, The Thirsty Turtle sits on 6 acres of lakefront property, which truly makes it unique. With the biggest beach on the Chain, The Thirsty Turtle has a beach bar located right on the water’s edge, two professional volleyball courts and a play area for the little ones. We have daily drink and food specials, as well as entertainment, pool, volleyball and bag leagues.
